This course is targeted to give students the opportunity to exhibit their knowledge, skills and creativity related to eLearning instructional design. Students demonstrate their ability to integrate design principles and skills by applying them to a real-world project. Students will be expected to explore an eLearning project that requires assessment, design, development, project management and evaluation.

This course is part of OSU's exclusive, online E-Learning Instructional Design and Development Certificate series.

What you'll learn:
  • Articulate concepts, techniques and skills that contribute to successful assessment practices.
  • Identify and design assessment methods and activities that align with learner outcomes.
  • Differentiate and utilize both quantitative and qualitative methods of assessment.
  • Compare and contrast methods of feedback.
  • Identify methods to evaluate and measure accomplishment of eLearning performance or project criteria and program goals.
  • Make recommendations for improvements.
