Let's Learn English

Let's Learn English is a communicative course for primary schools in the Arab world, grades 1-6. The six-stage course is for young children who are starting to learn English. It teaches speaking, listening, reading and writing skills through stories, dialogues, songs, plays and games. New language is presented clearly and practised at a controlled pace. Revision units and exercises reinforce the language. The pupil's books include extensive full-colour illustrations to support the cheerful text. The course is suitable for use in Islamic schools - it is widely used in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and other Arab states. In addition to the pupil's book, each stage of the course includes an activity book, teacher's book and cassette. The activity book provides further practice in writing, reading and listening through exercises which can be used either in class or for private study. The teacher's book offers clear and detailed guidance on the aims and procedures for each exercise, plus sample tests and games. The cassette includes pronunciation practice of new language, the dialogues from the pupil's book and the listening passages for use with the activity book.
