An Educator's Legacy

An Educator's Legacy, Impact and Reflection Journal was designed with the educator in mind. Educators are held to a higher standard; however, we do not escape life's storms. We experience the same pain, trauma, and difficult experiences everyone else does, we just can't show it. We have to show up for our students with rainbows and unicorns.Many times, when people go through life's difficulties, they unintentionally project those emotions to those around them, including their students. The ability to see some of the positives that are happening in life will keep you from being laser focused on the negatives. This book helps you look for the positives. Each page starts with a motivational or inspirational quote that will encourage you to be better. Better at handling the stresses of life. Better at being present for your students. Better at loving your family. The prompt "The impact I made today" will help you look for and identify those rich, positive moments, the compliments, the successes that seem few and far between when you are suffering. If you are traveling down a difficult road right now, try a new perspective. A perspective of growth and development and the evolution of you-becoming you. Journaling has been shown to provide healing and improve emotional stability. The bottom section of each page features a second journal prompt; "What I can improve on tomorrow." This prompt will allow you to reflect and grow intentionally in the direction you want to grow. Don't leave your life up to someone else. Live the life you design and desire.
