The members of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) have collaborated to create this Dictionary of Storage Networking Terminology. This collaborations stands as a monument representing the dedication of the SNIA members to create and deliver standards and educational materials for the Storage Industry. In the creation of this Dictionary, we have utilized our members extensive knowledge of the industry to define the terms and acronyms used in the Storage Industry. This dictionary thus represents the storage networking industry’s most comprehensive attempt to date to arrive at a common body of terminology for the technologies it represents.
