巴蜀文化志
本书叙述了从古代到近代巴蜀文化发展的盛衰轨迹、主要特点，以及对中华文化与世界文化发展所作出的重要贡献。在叙述中突出重点，严谨而不枯燥。作者认为，巴蜀文化在古蜀文明时期、汉代与唐宋时期有过三次繁荣的高峰，三度位居全国的前列。宋代以后呈现全面的衰退，清代后期才有明显的复苏。早期的巴蜀文化是自有特色、独立发展的一种文化，但与外界（包括中原文化）一直有着日趋密切的交流，在交流之中发展、创造。从宏观的高度来总结，巴蜀文化最重要的特点是主要由移民文化而表现出来的兼容。
