Responsibilities
Mainframe Architects are responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Design and develop mainframe systems
- Manage and maintain mainframe systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe system issues
- Advise and consult on mainframe system best practices
- Develop and implement mainframe system security measures
- Stay up-to-date on the latest mainframe system technologies
Education and Experience
Mainframe Architects typically have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. They also have several years of experience in mainframe system design and development. Some Mainframe Architects also have a master's degree in computer science or a related field.
