Endpoint Security Specialist
Endpoint Security Specialists are responsible for protecting networks and systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction. They work with other IT professionals to develop and implement security policies and procedures, and they monitor and analyze security logs and data to identify potential threats. Endpoint Security Specialists must have a strong understanding of security principles and technologies, and they must be able to stay up-to-date on the latest threats and trends in the field. They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and they must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Educational Background
Most Endpoint Security Specialists have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Some employers may also require a master's degree or equivalent experience.
