Education and Training
Most Social Development Specialists have a bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, or a related field. Some employers may also require a master's degree in social work or a related field. In addition to their formal education, Social Development Specialists must also complete a supervised internship or practicum. This experience allows them to gain the practical skills they need to work with clients.
