Clinical Trial Managers lead the day-to-day operations of a clinical trial. As an interface between the clinical research team, regulatory authorities, ethics committees, study sites, and patients, Clinical Trial Managers ensure all aspects of a clinical trial are overseen and conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice, GCP. Clinical Trial Managers assist in the design, coordination, execution, and monitoring of trials, while addressing and mitigating any risks to participants. They monitor the safety and efficacy of new drugs and treatments, managing data and reporting on trial results to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy. Clinical Trial Managers need to stay up-to-date on the latest regulations, guidelines, and best practices in clinical research.
