Responsibilities of Immigration Law Attorneys

In this role, your day-to-day may consist of:

  • Keeping up-to-date on the latest immigration laws and regulations.

You will often work with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and you will need to be able to communicate effectively with them. Strong communication skills are vital for your ability to advocate for your clients and build strong relationships with them. Because you will be working with a diverse clientele, cultural sensitivity will be necessary to be successful in this role. Moreover, administrative and organizational skills are highly valued. This career demands meticulous attention to detail, as you will often work with complex legal documents.
