Home Security Installer
Home Security Installers are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems, alarms and closed-circuit TV (CCTV) equipment in homes and commercial buildings. They work with clients to assess their security needs and to provide them with the best possible solutions, and they may provide instruction on security practices to clients as well. Home Security Installers may also perform sales and marketing for their products and services, and they often work with other tradespeople, such as electricians and technicians.
Skills and Experience
Home Security Installers typically need a high school diploma or equivalent, and they may also need to complete an apprenticeship program or other training course to learn the necessary skills. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and they must be able to follow instructions and work safely in a variety of environments.
