Electrical CAD Technician
Electrical CAD Technicians use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create electrical schematics, plans, and layouts for various electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems. These professionals work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that electrical systems meet building codes and safety standards.
Education and Training
Most Electrical CAD Technicians have an associate degree or certificate in electrical technology, engineering technology, or a related field. Some employers may require a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
