Customs Agent
Customs Agents are responsible for enforcing customs laws and regulations. They inspect cargo and baggage, collect duties, and prevent the smuggling of illegal goods. They may also investigate customs fraud and other violations. Customs Agents work in a variety of settings, including airports, seaports, and border crossings.

Education and Certification
Customs Agents must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Most Customs Agents have a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or a related field. Customs Agents must also complete a training program at the Customs and Border Protection Academy.
