Young Adult Authors write books for readers between the ages of 12 and 18. Young Adult (YA) fiction is a popular and ever-evolving genre that covers a wide range of topics and themes, from coming-of-age stories to dystopian adventures.

Educational Background

While there is no one-size-fits-all educational background for Young Adult Authors, many have a bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, or a related field. Some authors also have a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing.

There are also many online courses available that can teach aspiring authors the basics of writing, storytelling, and character development.
