Elementary Science Teachers are responsible for teaching Science to students from Kindergarten to 6th grade. They help students develop their critical thinking skills and understand the fundamentals of Science, including the life cycle of plants, the properties of matter, the laws of motion, and the solar system.

Education and Training

Elementary Science Teachers typically need a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Science. They must also be certified by the state in which they wish to teach.

Skills and Experience

In addition to a strong foundation in Science, Elementary Science Teachers must have a love of learning and a passion for teaching. They must be able to engage students and make learning fun and interactive. They must also be able to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
