Nursing is a rewarding career that offers many opportunities for personal and professional growth. Nurses play a vital role in the healthcare system, providing care to patients and their families. They assess patients' needs, develop and implement care plans, and monitor patients' progress. Nurses also educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatments.

Education and Training

To become a nurse, you will need to complete a nursing program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Nursing programs typically take two to four years to complete and include both classroom and clinical experience. Once you have completed a nursing program, you will be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become a registered nurse (RN).
