Job Description
Equipment Planners work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement equipment plans that meet the project's requirements. They are responsible for identifying, selecting, and procuring the necessary equipment, as well as developing and implementing a plan for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the equipment. Equipment Planners also work with contractors and vendors to ensure that the equipment is delivered and installed on time and within budget.
Skills and Qualifications
Equipment Planners typically have a bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, or a related field. They also have experience in equipment planning and management, as well as a strong understanding of project management principles. Equipment Planners must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and they must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
