Healthcare Systems Engineer
Healthcare Systems Engineers are responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of healthcare systems. This includes working with other healthcare professionals to identify and define system requirements, as well as designing and implementing system solutions. Healthcare Systems Engineers must have a strong understanding of healthcare systems, as well as a strong technical background in engineering and computer science.
Education and Training Requirements
Most Healthcare Systems Engineers have a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science. Some employers may also require a master's degree in healthcare administration or a related field. In addition to formal education, Healthcare Systems Engineers must also have experience working in a healthcare setting.
