LEED Accredited Professionals specialize in the design, construction, and operation of sustainable buildings. They help to reduce the environmental impact of buildings by promoting energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction. LEED Accredited Professionals are in high demand as companies and governments increasingly seek to reduce their environmental footprint.
Becoming a LEED Accredited Professional
There are two main paths to becoming a LEED Accredited Professional. One path is to earn a bachelor's degree in a related field such as architecture, engineering, or construction. The other path is to gain experience in the field and then pass the LEED Green Associate exam. Once you have met the education and experience requirements, you can apply for LEED Accredited Professional certification. The LEED Green Associate exam is a multiple-choice test that covers the LEED rating system and its application to building projects.
