Autism Therapists play a critical role in supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. They provide evidence-based interventions to help individuals with ASD improve their communication, social, and behavioral skills. Autism Therapists work in a variety of settings, including schools, clinics, and homes.

Educational Requirements

Most Autism Therapists hold a bachelor's degree in special education, psychology, or a related field. Some states require Autism Therapists to be licensed or certified. To obtain a license or certification, Autism Therapists must complete coursework and supervised experience in autism therapy.
