What is a Rules Engineer?

Rules Engineers are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software systems that automate complex business rules and decision-making processes. They work closely with business analysts to understand the business requirements, and then they develop and implement rules that can be used to automate these processes. Rules Engineers must have a strong understanding of business logic, as well as programming languages and software development tools.
