Software Risk Analyst
Software Risk Analysts work in a wide range of industries to ensure their organization has the necessary safeguards in place to keep their software systems secure. Risk analysts work to mitigate the risks stemming from the development cycle and the implementation of new software by working with teams to create plans that will identify and prevent potential security breaches.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
This work requires a strong understanding of the overall development cycle for software. That's because, as a Software Risk Analyst, you will participate in the software development planning process and will lead teams in identifying areas that may pose a security risk. The team will then work to resolve those risks by creating plans that will guide the development and implementation of the software in a secure manner. These plans may include policy changes or additional layers of security in the software.
