Cloud Finance Manager
As a cloud finance manager, you'll guide your organization in optimizing its use of cloud computing services while keeping your cloud spend under control. In this role, you'll work with various teams within your organization to modernize and optimize your financial operations. You'll also be responsible for implementing best practices for managing your organization's cloud spend and minimizing any waste.
Skillset
To succeed as a cloud finance manager, you'll need a solid understanding of both finance and cloud computing. You should be proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. You also should be familiar with cloud computing concepts, such as infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS). Additionally, you'll need strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with teams across your organization.
Typical Responsibilities
As a cloud finance manager, your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
