Career Growth and Advancement
Directors of Security can advance to senior management roles such as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) or Chief Risk Officer (CRO). They may also choose to specialize in a particular area of security, such as cyber security, physical security, or compliance. With experience, Directors of Security may also move into consulting or advisory roles.
