Effects Artists are responsible for creating visual effects for films, television, and video games. They use their skills in computer graphics, animation, and compositing to bring the director's vision to life. Effects Artists work closely with other members of the production team, including directors, producers, and other artists, to ensure that the visual effects are consistent with the overall look and feel of the project. They also work with other Effects Artists to create and maintain the visual effects pipeline. Effects Artists use a variety of software and techniques to create their work. These include computer-generated imagery (CGI), motion capture, and 3D modeling. They also use a variety of physical materials, such as props and costumes, to create their visual effects.
