Engenheiro Biomédico, also known as Biomedical Engineering, are professionals who combine engineering principles with medical knowledge to design, build, and maintain biomedical devices, systems, and software. Biomedical Engineers, or BME's, apply the latest breakthroughs in science and technology to advance medical treatment and healthcare delivery.

Types of Biomedical Engineers
