CNC Technician

CNC technicians are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of computer numerical control (CNC) machines. These machines are used in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, automotive, and aerospace. CNC technicians must have a strong understanding of CNC programming and operation, as well as mechanical and electrical systems. They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Training

Most CNC technicians have a high school diploma or equivalent. Some employers may require CNC technicians to have an associate degree or a certificate in a related field. CNC technicians can also gain experience through apprenticeships or on-the-job training.
