The Construction Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing the contractual aspects of construction projects. They work closely with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are meeting their obligations and that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

Responsibilities

The Construction Contract Manager is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Developing and negotiating contracts with contractors
  • Administering contracts and ensuring that all parties are meeting their obligations
  • Resolving disputes between contractors and other stakeholders
  • Managing change orders and other contract modifications
  • Preparing and submitting progress reports to clients
  • Ensuring that all construction work is completed in accordance with the contract documents
  • Representing the client in legal proceedings, if necessary
