The role of an Aesthetician Instructor is to teach students the skills and knowledge needed to become licensed aestheticians. Aestheticians provide skincare treatments, such as facials, waxing, and makeup application.

Education and Training

To become an Aesthetician Instructor, you must first complete an aesthetician training program and obtain a license. Aesthetician training programs typically take six to nine months to complete and cover topics such as skin care, makeup application, and waxing. Once you have obtained your aesthetician license, you can then complete an Aesthetician Instructor training program. Aesthetician Instructor training programs typically take two to three months to complete and cover topics such as teaching methods, curriculum development, and classroom management.

Skills and Qualities

In addition to the skills and knowledge required to be an aesthetician, Aesthetician Instructors must also have strong teaching skills. They must be able to effectively communicate complex information to students, create and implement lesson plans, and assess student progress. Aesthetician Instructors must also be patient, organized, and have a passion for teaching.
