Technical Writer (IT) is responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, such as user manuals, technical reports, and knowledge base articles. The work of a Technical Writer (IT) directly impacts end users of software products. Technical Writers (IT) are often responsible for determining the most effective ways to present information, including organization of instruction, formatting, and page layout. Besides writing and editing text, Technical Writers (IT) may sometimes also develop graphics, create conceptual diagrams, tables, or charts to help convey ideas. They work with other product and documentation teams, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to create documentation that is both useful and readable.
