Containerization Specialist

The Containerization Specialist is responsible for leading the implementation and management of a docker, kubernetes, and openshift container-based environment for a hosting and application development company. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the container platform. This role works closely with the software development team to ensure the smooth deployment and management of their applications in the container environment.

Responsibilities

The Containerization Specialist is responsible for all aspects of technical operations, including:

• Leading the implementation and management of a container-based environment
• Designing and implementing container solutions
• Working with software development teams to ensure the smooth deployment and management of their applications in the container environment
• Monitoring and troubleshooting container performance
• Working with the security team to ensure the security of the container environment
• Investigating and implementing container-related tools and technologies
• Staying up-to-date on the latest trends in container technology

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Linux
