Head Start Teacher
Head Start Teachers plan and provide instruction to preschool children that address cognitive, social, physical, and emotional development. Some of the responsibilities of a Head Start Teacher include ensuring the health and safety of children, along with nurturing their intellectual and social growth. Head Start Teachers work with children in small groups or individually to provide age-appropriate learning activities. They observe children's progress and adjust activities accordingly. Head Start Teachers promote children's development by fostering relationships with parents and families and collaborating with other professionals.
