April 13, 2024 4 minute read

Sheep Breeders, alternatively known as Animal Breeders, contribute greatly to the quality of livestock, in many instances selecting particular breeds based on their suitability for different climates, feed supplies, and markets. Many Sheep Breeders specialize in raising a specific breed or breeds, and they work to ensure that individual sheep possess purebred genetic lineages and carry certain qualities. One Sheep Breeder may focus on the production of wool, while another focuses on meat. As a result of these Sheep Breeders' meticulous oversight and expertise, sheep (and other animals) are produced for a wide variety of purposes and are sourced by producers around the globe.
