They offer guidance on pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum care, as well as practical assistance with tasks such as meal preparation, light housework, and childcare. Doulas may work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, birth centers, and private homes. The role of a Doula is to provide support and guidance to families during this important time in their lives.
