Neuropsychologue
Neuropsychologists are experts in the brain and nervous system, and how they affect cognitive function and behavior. They use their knowledge to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a variety of neurological and psychological conditions.
Education and Training
Neuropsychologists typically have a doctoral degree in neuropsychology or a related field, such as clinical psychology or cognitive psychology. They must also complete a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology.
Skills and Abilities
Neuropsychologists need a strong understanding of the brain and nervous system, as well as the cognitive and behavioral functions they control. They also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
