Process Optimization Specialist
A Process Optimization Specialist is responsible for identifying and eliminating inefficiencies in business processes. They work with stakeholders to understand the current state of a process, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions. Process Optimization Specialists typically have a strong understanding of business processes, data analysis, and project management.
Education and Experience
Most Process Optimization Specialists have a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. They may also have a master's degree in business administration or a related field. While not required, certification is available through the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) or the American Society for Quality (ASQ) to further demonstrate knowledge and skills. Process Optimization Specialists typically have several years of experience in process improvement or a related field.
