Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) are responsible for deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems. They are familiar with the RHEL ecosystem and have a deep understanding of its components, including the kernel, systemd, and SELinux. RHCEs are also proficient in using Red Hat's management tools, such as Red Hat Satellite and Red Hat Insights.
Responsibilities
The day-to-day responsibilities of a RHCE include:
- Deploying and configuring RHEL systems
- Managing and maintaining RHEL systems
- Troubleshooting RHEL systems
- Updating and patching RHEL systems
- Providing technical support to RHEL users
