Space Systems Engineers design, develop, and maintain spacecraft and satellites. They work on a variety of projects, from small satellites to large space stations. Space Systems Engineers must have a strong understanding of physics, mathematics, and engineering. They must also be able to work well in a team environment and be able to manage complex projects.
Education and Training
Most Space Systems Engineers have a bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics. Some Space Systems Engineers also have a master's degree or doctorate in a related field. There are many different ways to learn about space systems engineering online. Many universities offer online courses in space systems engineering, and there are also many online resources available.
