Chef de projet UX
Chef de projet UX, often abbreviated to UX Designer, is a customer advocate who empathizes with the end-user. UX designers seek to optimize the user experience by designing useful, usable, enjoyable, accessible, and inclusive user interfaces, systems, and products. They take on a variety of responsibilities based on their experience and the size and structure of the company or organization they work for. This role often requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, human-computer interaction, web design, graphic design, or a related field. While not required, UX designers may find it helpful to pursue a certification in UX design, but relevant experience and skills are usually sufficient to gain employment.
The Day-to-Day of a UX Designer
Usually, a UX designer's day begins with checking in with the development team, reviewing the work completed the previous day, and planning for the day's upcoming tasks. Before beginning work, UX designers typically have coffee or tea while looking at their to-do list and planning their day. Depending on the company, UX designers may have the opportunity to work independently or collaboratively in a group setting with other designers or programmers. Some UX designers may work with clients who have specific needs and problems that the UX designer helps solve. Web design, product design, and mobile app design are all specializations that fall within the realm of UX design. These specializations require the UX designer to understand the needs and wants of the end-users for each type of design.
