Ski Patroller
Ski patrollers are responsible for the safety of skiers and snowboarders on the mountain. They provide first aid, search and rescue services, and avalanche control. Ski patrollers must be physically fit and have a strong knowledge of skiing and snowboarding techniques. They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Training
Most ski patrollers have a high school diploma or equivalent. Some ski patrollers have a degree in a related field, such as emergency medical services or outdoor recreation. Ski patrollers must complete a formal training program that is accredited by the National Ski Patrol (NSP). The NSP training program includes both classroom and on-the-job training. It covers a variety of topics, including first aid, CPR, skiing and snowboarding techniques, avalanche safety, search and rescue techniques, and teamwork and communication skills.
