RF Sales Engineers assist customers at all levels with their RF-related products and services. They provide product information and make recommendations while working to educate consumers about the benefits of RF-related products and services. RF Sales Engineers can work with various customers, including but not limited to, telecommunications and wireless companies, semiconductor manufacturers, and government and defense contractors.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

To succeed as an RF Sales Engineer, one needs to have a sound understanding of the following:

  • Radio Frequency (RF) theory and technology
  • RF product knowledge
  • Sales techniques
  • Customer service skills
  • Technical writing skills

RF Sales Engineers also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team.
