Essential Skills and Knowledge for Electrical Testers

To be successful as an Electrical Tester, it is essential to have a solid foundation in electrical theory, including knowledge of electrical circuits, Ohm’s law, and power calculations. Additionally, Testers must be able to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. They must also be proficient in using various testing instruments, including multimeters, ammeters, and voltmeters. Furthermore, Testers must be familiar with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other applicable standards and regulations.
