They may work for government agencies, consulting firms, or nonprofit organizations. Environmental mediators are responsible for resolving conflicts and facilitating agreements between parties with different interests.

Educational Background

Environmental mediators typically have a bachelor's degree in environmental science, natural resources, or a related field. Some mediators also have a master's degree in environmental mediation or a related field.
