Industrial Electronics Engineer
Industrial Electronics Engineers design, develop, integrate, and maintain electronic control systems for industrial machinery. They work with a variety of electrical and mechanical components, including sensors, actuators, drives, and controllers. Industrial Electronics Engineers must have a strong understanding of electrical engineering, electronics, and control systems. They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Training
Most Industrial Electronics Engineers have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field. Some employers may also require a master's degree. In addition to formal education, Industrial Electronics Engineers must also have hands-on experience with electrical and electronic systems. This experience can be gained through internships, co-ops, or personal projects.

Industrial Electronics Engineers must have a strong foundation in electrical engineering, electronics, and control systems. They must also be able to:
