As Airport Managers, you're in charge of much of what happens on an airport's grounds. If a problem occurs at the airport, whether it's situations, including in times of disaster, it's up to you to resolve it. It's up to you to ensure a seamless operation is happening across an airport's grounds.

Responsibilities

As an Airport Manager, your duties include:

  • Planning, directing, and coordinating airport operations
  • Developing and implementing airport policies and procedures
  • Managing airport finances and budgets
  • Negotiating with airlines and other airport tenants
  • Ensuring that the airport is safe, secure, and compliant with all applicable regulations
  • Representing the airport to the public and media
  • Working with other airport stakeholders, such as airlines, government agencies, and local businesses
