As Airport Managers, you're in charge of much of what happens on an airport's grounds. If a problem occurs at the airport, whether it's situations, including in times of disaster, it's up to you to resolve it. It's up to you to ensure a seamless operation is happening across an airport's grounds.
Responsibilities
As an Airport Manager, your duties include:
- Planning, directing, and coordinating airport operations
- Developing and implementing airport policies and procedures
- Managing airport finances and budgets
- Negotiating with airlines and other airport tenants
- Ensuring that the airport is safe, secure, and compliant with all applicable regulations
- Representing the airport to the public and media
