They are responsible for collect and combining large amounts of data from various sources and processing it in such a way that it can be used to make informed decisions. Cloud Analytics Engineers often work in collaboration with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that the data analysis is aligned with the business goals. Engineers in this role must be able to understand the business context, translate it into technical requirements, and develop a solution for the problem.
