Cloud Analytics Engineer is an offshoot of a Cloud Engineer but is more specialized in analyzing cloud data to find patterns and trends that can help businesses make better decisions. They are responsible for collect and combining large amounts of data from various sources and processing it in such a way that it can be used to make informed decisions. Cloud Analytics Engineers often work in collaboration with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that the data analysis is aligned with the business goals. Engineers in this role must be able to understand the business context, translate it into technical requirements, and develop a solution for the problem.

Cloud Analytics Engineer as a Career

This career may require the completion of a bachelor's or master's program in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field. Some employers may require certification, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, and Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect.
