Role of a Library Media Specialist
Library Media Specialists are responsible for the management and operation of school libraries and their resources. These resources include books, online databases, videos, and other materials that students and staff may use in their coursework and research.
Library Media Specialists collaborate with teachers to develop and implement curriculum-aligned instruction that supports student learning. They also provide professional development to teachers and staff on library resources and information literacy skills.

Path to Becoming a Library Media Specialist
To become a Library Media Specialist, you must meet the following requirements:
