Four courses

Multi-Cluster, Multi-Cloud with Anthos

(0 hours)
Course one of the Architecting Hybrid Cloud with Anthos series introduces participants to managing multi-cloud and hybrid Kubernetes deployments using Anthos. Through presentations and hands-on labs, participants explore planning and creating Anthos environments and building manageable and reliable multi-cluster Kubernetes infrastructure environments centered around Anthos and containers.

Cloud Operations and Service Mesh with Anthos

(0 hours)
This foundational course equips students to plan and create Anthos environments: to build manageable and reliable multi-cluster Kubernetes infrastructure environments using Anthos and containers.

Anthos on Bare Metal

Course three of the Anthos series prepares students to run Anthos in a customer’s on-premises environment, on bare metal. Participants explore deploying and running Anthos applications on bare metal, creating the Anthos infrastructure, deploying applications, and performing monitoring, logging, and tracing.

Hybrid Cloud Modernizing Applications with Anthos

Course four of the Anthos series prepares students to consider approaches for modernizing applications and services within Anthos environments. Topics include optimizing workloads on serverless platforms and migrating workloads to Anthos.

Learning objectives

  • Deploy service mesh control-plane and proxies.
  • Centrally observe, discover, and monitor your microservices-based applications across clusters.
  • Define and manage multi-cluster services, using open-source service mesh and multiple control-plane topologies.
  • Enable consistent policy enforcement across multi-cluster services.
