The Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Specialization prepares students for entry level careers in cybersecurity, with an emphasis on administering the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Firewall. All courses also map learning objectives to the U.S. NIST/NICE framework and cybersecurity work roles. The Specialization project requires that students demonstrate fundamental networking and skills learned in configuring the Palo Alto Networks firewall including but not limited to the following: create and analyze packet captures using Wireshark; initially configure firewall interfaces and zones; creating a firewall zero-trust environment with zones, security policies, and NAT; and decrypting SSH traffic through decryption policies.
