They will also learn how to use pharmacy management software and read and interpret prescriptions.

Pharmacy Dosages and Prescriptions Essentials

In Pharmacy Dosages and Prescriptions Essentials, students will learn to use pharmacy nomenclature and measure different types of prescriptions. This includes dosage calculation methods, mathematical conversions, and formulas. Students will also learn how to prepare and measure tablet and capsule medications, liquid prescriptions, and other considerations, including parenteral and enteral, and insulin and syringes.
